Here are some principles from Acts 2. Can you come up with more from your own study? Comment and share them! Don't forget to read Acts 3 for next week.
1) God moves in the lives of “willing vessels” V 1
2) When God’s prerequisites are met His Holy Spirit comes. V1
3) When the Holy Spirit comes His power will be obvious. V6-7
4) He fills ALL who are willing. V4
5) His timing is an essential element of His work. V2
6) People will be drawn to the Holy Spirit working in willing vessels. V6
7) If we cooperate with His Holy Spirit people will be saved. V41
8) The Holy Spirit is the source of power in our witnessing. V4
9) When the Holy Spirit opens a door of opportunity He invites us to participate. V14
10) When you respond to the Holy Spirit’s promptings you may be misunderstood. V13
11) If He asks you to get involved He will empower you. You do not have to concern yourself with you lack of ability.
12) The Holy Spirit draws people to the gospel, not you.
13) Some will reject the message “that day” but later they may reconsider and turn to Christ. V47
