a) Give her quality one on one time (full attention)
b) Balance your work (don’t be lazy or a work-a-holic)
c) Listen to her when she talks to you or asks a question (listen with your eyes as well as your ears)
d) Observe her and help her when she needs you or maybe even when she does not
e) Learn when to give her some “space” and let her have some alone time (not a week at a time)
f) Encourage “girl time” with her friends. You keep the kids.
g) Be honoring when you address her in private or public but especially in public settings
h) Develop and practice courteous behavior toward your wife such as opening doors for her, seating her in a restaurant, introducing her to your friends when you meet in public, etc (some of you guys you may need to check out a book on this subject)
i) Surprise her with a gift, flowers, or a note for no special occasion (I assume that you do this on her special days already)
j) Do not forget to remember her on her birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.
k) Ask her advice about _______________ (really anything. It does not matter if you think that she knows anything about it or not)
l) Pray with her regularly
m) Be careful what YOU watch on TV, internet, magazines, or books. Make a covenant not to allow any impure thing to come into your house or mind.
n) Keep your self pure
o) Develop and maintain a good moral reputation
p) Defend her always even with the kids.
q) Never go to bed angry.
r) Never cut off communication to get back at her
s) Never cut off money to get back at her
